Panorama Cotton Cart Question

Post by KindGrind »

Is it just me, or this particular cart is bigger -wider- than the others? It doesn't quite fit in my modded US Genny. It does work fine with a passthrough like a game genie, though.

Just wanna make sure my cart is legit and all. Thanks!

Yeah, mines the same - all Japanese Sunsoft games had the same type of cart, I believe.

The sticker looks really dodgy too.

Yep, and the cart itself isn't all soft/slidy but rather bumpy. Isn't it?

A few questions about MD Panorama Cotton shmup...

Post by PC Engine Fan X! »

1.) How much does a loose Panorama Cotton cart go for?

2.) And same above question applied towards a complete MD Panorama Cotton set with instruction manual and plastic box?

3.) How did Success and Sunsoft manage to increase the color pallete for this particular game? It really is a colorful game indeed given it's 1994 release.

The answer to your last question would have to be "dithering", PCE FX.

I fetched mine, mint including the reg card for 115$. It seems this is the going price for it these days, although I'm pretty positive I've seen it change hands 10+times for 140-160$ over the last few months.

I guess a loose cart would be... 70$?
