So hello, I'm...basically a student going for a bachelors in computer animation. I don't have much tenacity to make my own games, although I do desire to. So what I plan to do is 'aniamte' the shmup game I had in mind as I imagined it being played and put it on youtube; and anyone wanting to add the programming to it will by all means be offered my blessing, as well as all the sprites and maps I created along the way (he'll have to instruct me very meticulously on how to complile or make a library or whatever he'll need for them to be programming friendly)! Like I said, that's all I had time to say for now, but hopefully I'll be back soon for...some reason...
