My blog, my (always outdated and broken) homepage, old and weird Amazon reviews, posts I did on random blogs and all that...

...and when I do a image search, somehow THIS pops up with my FULL name (including my middle name) under the result thumbnail:

Image

Turns out it was just a picture on a lists from some Illustration Friday submission, but it was a bit creepy for a moment :?

My full name is quite "safe", as I share it with a famous art gallery around here.

A former colleague of mine didn't have such luck though, when students googled her name and found her pic along with the info that she was arrested by the feds for fraud earlier!

EDIT: Typoz.

I'm fairly infamous. But regarding Google, most results are to do with Elixir Strings, which I believe are for guitars. There's also an Elixir rock band, skin care corp, cookies, board game, rapper, RAM and even a car.

My username gets my myspace and lame ole' vampire freaks, which depending on who you are could be considered incriminating. It also shows some GotFrag e-sports stuff and junk from emulation forums and what not.

My real name i share with a little-known rock/blues musician from Canada that pretty much takes up all the main matches.

If i search "Stefan Lindberg" on Goggle then it's first on page 5 there is a link related to me... but adding "PCB" after my name then all links and all pages Google finds are related to me :D

It's fun to search for your full name and see if anybody who shares it is famous for something. Top this:

Someone tagged my full name in a wordpress blog entry, and suddenly I had a full page worth of google results to someone elses blog, in about 5 different languages. That wordpress tag thing sucks. Google still ranks it above my own blog.

First 5 pages or so are mostly about me, and then it trails off. It's all boring stuff, though. One highlight: a book review I wrote gets quoted in a debate about free will on a forum not unlike this one.

As far as google knows I don't exist. No facebook, no website (well, my blog doesn't come up), nothing at all. It also helps that there's dozens of other people with the same name in the U.S.

Just 1 entry for me.

I publicly registered for a gaming tournament nearby and the list of entries still carries my name.

I share the same name as an Irish revolutionary and an early lunar explorer, so any joy in searching my name is quickly dispelled.

Usually mine appears on the second or third page of Google. And it's always about the shmups forum. I'm glad there aren't many VOOT fans out there, then.

I have a pretty rare last name. According to Whitepages.com, there are three people in the US with my full name, and one of the other guys lives in Wisconsin too. I hope he doesn't get into any trouble, cause that's what people will find if they google me :-X

My real name is shared with some prison governor and a crew member from Speed 2, on searching my username I get about 5 pages of various forum posts i've made and sites i've signed up to...obviousley, things start getting a bit pornographic from that point on
