Woah, I got a nice birthday surprise today, my girlfriend's dad sent me Blast Off for my birthday. He bought from Mak-Japan in Akihabara.

It was really well packaged and is running like a dream!
I can't believe I have it!!! That makes 3 Namco System 1 boards in my collection.

The board was pretty clean, however you can smell the tobacco, it certainly had it's time in a Japanese arcade. In a way it adds to the mystique of it all.

It's really cool to get something you want for your birthday!

No... but for a very long time I have been putting up WTB posts looking for it in this forum, so I thought this would be the most logical place to update the status of my search. If a moderator wants to move this topic to another thread I have no qualms with that...

The very fact that your girlfriend's dad knows what a JAMMA PCB is where to get them makes her a keeper

Her dad is my best friend, I get along with him better than I do her sometimes...
She gives the cats way more attention than me!

You are lucky to have a cute girl like her as your GF, and her dad to be such a good friend to you. Congrats on all three accounts. (PCB, GF, and GF's dad.)
