As it's the 4th of July, I'd play Metal Wolf Chaos to celebrate if I had the means to do so. But I don't, so watching this playthrough will have to do:

This, and maybe some Metal Gear Solid 3 action.

Didn't happen on the 4th, but check out those car alarms going off. Plus the countdown timer - awesome.

And no to all the other bullshit the honkey will no doubt bring in. Seriously... is anyone dumb enough to vote for McCain? Sorry... I don't want to derail this into politics. I've had two Chuhi's, so I'm enjoying my fourth of July, even though it's technically over in like 15 minutes.

I too wouldnt want to hijack an already hijacked thread. That would be...redundant!

But Im afraid our blessed Obamma aka: Slick Eddie, who has no accomplishments in the Senate, who has nothing to offer but change, whatever that means, is moving further & further & further away from the platform he began on & if elected & he may very well be elected, he will rape us for taxes, he will find that he can not end the war as hes promised & just as the democratic congress, who 2 years ago, claimed they had a solution for high gas prices yet have done nothing as it has risen daily, he will find being the Prez means far more than saying whatever, whenever & well I didnt know they was like that. :?

Back to the Festivities... :P

BTW, McCain also will raise taxes, he will not end the war & will not be able to control fuel prices.
And please, To Whom It May Concern: if you have nothing better to offer than its the GW 3rd term, you are IMO, no more than a bumper sticker.

A Happy 4th of July. The USA is celebrating it's 232th year of independance this year. There's nothing like it to end with a flashy pyrotechnic extravaganza. May Old Glory wave proudly. ^_~

Eh, I bet that with the state the nation is in right now, they would be more than glad to get rid of it, were it still a colony.

Just kidding!

Though I am not a US citizen, here's to the red, white and blue. Time to watch ID4 on Hi-Def. :D

@The Coop: That's cool. You made that with untouched pre-existing sprites, modified ones, or from scratch? (Isn't Talbain british?)

It's a mix. All of the ones featuring Jon Talbain use original backgrounds I made from scratch (I dug up some reference picks of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier for the Memorial Day one though), and the smiley's all original too. Jon Talbain's a bit tougher to pin down. On my old parallax ones, JT had minor edits (a hat, slight outfit changes, etc.). On the ones that are more like little scenes, every JT pose is recolored and reshaded, and at least half of the poses used for him are made up of both multiple sprite parts that I pieced together to make "new" poses, and some stuff I drew myself (tail motions, etc.). The July 4th image above is nothing but sprite parts and stuff I drew for JT, as there's no such pose for him in the Darkstalkers series.

Long winded explanation, but that's the scoop. And yeah, JT's from England, but why let a thing like that get in the way of sig making? ;)

Have one on the house...my clock says there's still over an hour thirty left (more if you're in California, but they aren't supposed to be celebrating this year).

I just realised something, people from the USA don't write their country next to "Location" below their username

I wonder what is the main reason for that. Could be many things...

Well, think about 13 hours ahead of California, and you'll know where I'm coming from.

Well, to be bustin' out the technicalities and college learnings, a "State" actually means a country or basically an organized government. So you can say Canada is a State, France is a State, etc.

For the sake of simplicity, back in the day when England lost control of the US Colonies and territories, each colony essentially became their own country and had their own laws, forms of currency, different border relations, what have you. Then when Washington and Jefferson and all them guys got together and decided to bust out the federal government and join everybody as one, all the countries i.e. states became united, hence the name, United States.

So in modern times, for the sake of classification and other reasons, countries were the solid colors with boundaries placed on an atlas, while states may or may not have the boundries drawn, but they still function as independent governments on some level. I think Austrailia does the same thing, and the EU probably could classify sorta like this now, but I'm sure that decision was made so recently, nobody really treats those "states" like a united "country."

But I don't live over there, so they would know better than I...

Anyway, that's why putting "Michigan" in your Location is like writing your country without writing USA. *shrug* Point-of-view I guess...

Also, way to add "Canada" to Québec. But I don't know enough about providences.

I'd have to say NO to McCain as well. He's as much a war hero as Kerry, which the Republicans lambasted sooo there goes his war time leadership skills.

He's already proven himself a follower of Bush, a daddy's boy and former coke addict, and doesn't seem to have a mind of his own. BTW what good is lower taxes if you just add it to the nation's debt? That hardly seems like a good financial policy to me.
