Hey,
My dad went to Queen's when he was young. I'm in Trinity myself, studying Computer Science, Linguistics and French. What are you doing?
We should definitely try and meet up this summer.
My exams start in a bit less than 2 weeks, and run for 2 weeks :S
But after them, I'm free, and I can't wait
I was very impressed by your collection, how much is real? Or is it all?!

Yeah, I have a Dreamcast. I have all the games you mention, but none of them are real. I probably have nearly a hundred DC games by now.
I'm also very into emulation, not of DC, but of SNES, Genesis, etc. and arcade of course
But I better not say too much, I don't know what the rules are here about this sort of thing.
I've never really played any Saturn games, or any good ones at least.
I'm a big Dodonpachi fan, and I'd love to try Radiant Silvergun, because of my good experiences with every other Treasure game. Also because it's Radiant Silvergun!!
My website is http://johnl.org if you're interested in seeing a picture of me
Good luck with your exams!

OK, lets just make it clear, if anybody has an arcade in their house and they want to invite us, it's cool. We can bring beer.
My town only ever had one LAN. It was fun, but we hardly got a game going at all. Several of the people spent the night trying to get their pc's set up, by which time we were all far too drunk to get coordinated and pick a game to play. We had a fleeting session of Counter Strike and Unreal Tournament untill it degenerated into equally unsuccessful file leeching.
One of the guys at it drank half a bottle of vodka, fell off his chair 3 or 4 times while playing Quake, and still succeeded in blowing the absolute shit out of us. He had a score of 74-0 when we gave up.
Hmm.. there used to be a guy from Co. Kerry on this forum I think. I swapped Shenmue for Bangai-O with him. Had some PM's from him on the old forum but those are long gone. You could always drum up some interest on Boards.ie Emulation forum I suppose.
An actual arcade meet would probably be preferable to going to somones house, but there's hardly an arcade in the country with a SHMUP PCB which kind of scuppers that idea. It'd have to be a house meet wouldn't it? I could bring a TV, a Dreamcast and a PS2 along anyway.
