Nice dog. It looks still a bit out of place and/or slightly frightened, is that my impression?

No it's not you.

The pics were taken just an hour or 2 after getting back to our house.
So everything was new to him and he didn't feel at ease as much as he could have.

He has no probs with that today as he's claiming the house more and more.
It's not like it's our house anymore... It's HIS house.

(seriously... he's behaving and being all cool though

)

The difference between a dog and a cat is that the former takes a little while to gain the confidence to take over - the cat wastes no such time.
