Pigs are intelligent and have been placed fourth on the intelligence list (humans, primates, dolphins/whales, pigs).

Pigs that have been neutered or spayed are generally sweet natured and sensitive animals. In fact, pigs are so sensitive that you can hurt their feelings.


I do it all the time but as I get older I keep thinking what a friend once said about eating animals.

I am a carnivore pur sang... no meal is complete without some meat.

I have a healthy disliking of Turkey, horse meat and most beef (I can only just stand it in some burgers).

Chicken (not the watered down stuff) I like very much, but Pork is the one meat I could not do without.

Strange thing is that of all the animals of which the meat is an option here...I like pigs best.
