The great thing would be if someone manages to get a cheap machine capable to EXACTLY REPRODUCE the cellophane casing and string seal of new games :D
Look at those people who painstakingly collected games for years, drooling and wanting to play them... and their value suddendly drops through the floor cause hundreds of collectors just get used copies, replace the plastic jewel case, reseal them with a professional machine and PROFIT!
Alas, Ikaruga is going...

Undesired, unwanted them...
What makes them go?

hummmm interesting thought Fenrir.

Is carbon dating possible to distinguish between years and decades not just thousands of years or more?

and would it be a cost effective way to test for fake seals? The heritage of our computer gaming history must be preserved for the better good of the gaming comunity.

and by better good I mean financial gain :D

Anyone who has ever bought a new console game has bought a sealed game. Therefore, millions of people on earth are guilty of sealed game collecting. The problem is keeping them sealed... forever.

You get out of a message board what you put into it. You're clearly incapable of contributing anything other than spammy shit, so you get shit back.

I'm kind of wondering why this thread is still unlocked and Denvan is still an active member.

Is it normal (note: non-sexual pleasure only is derived)?

"Seran wrap" is a subgroup of the product category "plastic wrap."

But it'll thank you later.

A fitting end.

Due to my strong personal convictions, I wish to stress that this post in no way endorses a belief in resealing.

Update with important infos:

A relevant Post from Digital Press, by Sothy:
I dunno I dont play games.

I just like to stare at them through a thin transparent sheet of plastic.
Its erotic in a way. In so far as I view ebay auctions while pleasuring myself.
GarrettCRW:
There's no section for sealed food! How could you discriminate against those of us who collect sealed food?
And now a question:

Lots of people will part together games for the sake of "completeness" (personally it makes me feel unsettled, especially if you consider that some games have variant packaging). Yet then you have sealed games collecting which should be the antithesis of this...oh, who the hell am I kidding, Denvan's gone.

I've opened all my games..... even sapphire. although I could have left that one sealed for as much as I play it.

Maybe i could get the leaving them sealed if you used CDRs of the games you own. Dunno.... i play em and don't pay extra for games b/c they have shrink wrap.

The condition of a opened game can be better than a sealed one.
Damn Tim, you know there are quite a few Americans out there who still lives in tents due to this shitty economy, and you're dropping loads on a single game which only last 20 min. Do you think it's fair? How much did you spend this time?
