Price is another factor; healthy food is a lot more expensive. It's probably cheaper in the long run (less health complications), but yeah, eating mass-produced junk is unfortunately the cheapest and easiest way to go in the US. Americans should treat themselves to the good stuff (as in freshly baked bread) more often. It´s like consuming quality instead of quantity.
