That outrun super DX tours seems like an excellent price. It would depend on its condition though. In manchester UK its 2GBP a go per person. thats 16GBP if you get a full game going. If I had a place to site it with some deicent pedestrian traffic I would buy if I had the cash as it seems a very good deal.

those outrun setups were almost $300K when new.. the local amusement park apparently made that money back within the first month of having it on operating (at about $1.5 a pop)... still a very popular game, in the right location youll make that $90K back in no time..
the destruction of everything, is the beginning of something new. your whole world is on fire, and soon, you'll be too..

Ferrari F355 DLX $3,995usd

That Ferrari 355 deluxe cabinet is pretty sweet -- a three monitor setup with full force-feedback on the steering wheel + link-up capability for head-to-head action with a pal = priceless ^_~

Is regarded as a pure Ferrari racing simulator built from the ground up as envisioned by Yuki Suzuki in cooperation with Ferrari themselves...if you have raced Ferrari 355s, then you'd swear that the handling characteristics of that arcade racing sim is uncanny and very similar to driving the real thing in real life...

Sure, I've tried the single screen version of sit-down cabinet of Sega Ferrari 335 but it ain't same as with the three monitor type version of the same name...

Of course, Ferrari 355 Challenge can be played head-to-head on the DC but one would need two copies of said DC GD-Rom game discs, two DC consoles & a DC link-up cable = fun times with racing... ^_~

For Lordstar,

Take a hint: Win the UK lottery and you can own your own arcade, one that folks will want to patronize. Stock it well with the latest 'n' greatest arcade game cabinets from Japan, the USA, and UK and you'll be raking in the profits. And be sure to include the latest Stern pinball tables while you got it up and running -- gotta stoke the pinball fans' desire for new pins... ^_~

Or get in contact with a business partner (or having two are even better than one) who has access to plenty of business "start-up" cash -- make a deal with him or her and offer a certain "agreed-upon in advance" percentage cut of whatever profits you bring in once in operation. Still gotta pay the rent, lease, utilities, etc. -- still feel like running/managing a small business venture? It ain't for everyone...

It's been said that if your own business survives the first five years in business, the odds are more likely that you'll still be in business another five, ten or more years on down the road. Just remember, it will be a long time before taking a vacation if you're the owner, boss, manager all rolled up into one person when running your arcade. In reality, most small businesses will fold in their first five years in operation. Sad but true...

A savvy business man already knows that "it takes money to make money" -- by opening up your own arcade hangout, you call all the shots from opening to closing, hire and fire staff if they aren't up to snuff, etc. ^_~

I'd have commented on the "dual column" but thought it was beneath me.
