Would you still be interested if it's also on PS3?

I didn't say I was interested. I didn't say anything. I just stated a fact and posted an article.

Truth be told, I don't really care. I would have much rather seen footage of Blue Dragon 2 or had an announcement for Lost Odyssey 2 or seen footage of Cry On. I've never played a Star Ocean game therefore I currently hold no opinion over this announcement what-so-ever.

If I like Infinite Undiscovery come September, then I might get excited. If IU turns out to be another Eternal Sonata and makes me want to gouge my eyes out, then I will stay home the day SO4 comes out.

The best thing about SO3 is the battles. Some care is needed when battling enemies to no end up dead. The story and characters were a big meh imo.

It was a chore. If you didn't play it then you haven't really missed anything. Star Ocean 2 was fantastic and has aged quite well against the majority of other PS1 RPGs available, but SO3 didn't hold the same kind of charm.

Which is one of the reasons why I'm sceptical of whether Star Ocean 4 will hold any substance.

It wasn't announced as an Xbox360 exclusive. As far as I know, it was originally announced as a PS3 title and is now just coming to both systems. In fact, they say that in the article.


So... :P

Like I said, take the Sony kid stuff elsewhere. I'm just saying that Star Ocean 4 is coming out on the 360. If it was coming out on the Wii I might have made a thread about that too. Or the DS even.

And if anyone wants, here's the trailer for it. Looks a bit too much like Phantasy Star to me though...
