Some people (like me) happen to think Quicktime is shit, so here's a Non-Quicktime one:

I'm really excited for Wall-E.

Pixar is pretty much the only crew around that puts out worthwhile material in the painfully bloated genre of family CG anthropomorphism films. Ratatouille was one of the greatest movies last year, animated or not, I thought. Plus, the future/robot/space idea of Wall-E makes me geek out a little.

Can't wait.

I'll definately go see Wall-E. My inner child loves pretty much everything Pixar has done. I didn't know that Ratatouille was made by them, guess I'll have to check that out now too. :)

Am I the only one who thinks that the robot looks like a shrunken version of the one from Short Curcuit?

And, Phil, could you please stop changing your avatar every few hours? It's highly irritating.

Only if you could please stop coming into my thread and telling me what to do. But yeah, I'm still kicking around for a permanent avatar.

The threads aren't "yours": they are public, and thus subject to public laws and guidelines. Herr Schatten is a board moderator, actually, so he is the one to tell.

Also, "Short Circuit" was my first thought when I saw it. Compare:

Plagiarism much, Disney.

EDIT: Wait. Tell me where it says I'm not allowed to change my Avatar.

...nevermind. I'm about to just leave theae forums. It's been fun.

Oh man, it does look A LOT like johnny 5.

I hadn't heard of this until my wife & 3 year old son came home yesterday with Wall E sheets for his bed. He hasn't seen the movie yet though, I think he just liked it because it looks like "an alien!" :D

An "alien" . haha, thats cool.

There's just something about a curious little robot saving the world that makes me revert to being 8 yeaqrs old.

Would it look better on Blu-Ray than on Demand in the HD section? Or does it make no difference.?

Ratatouille is the greatest thing since Finding Nemo.

I hadn't clicked this thread until now, since I saw an ad on the side of a bus today and realized it's Disney / Pixar. I think I still have yet to see a Pixar film that I dislike, but I have not really been following closely.

I think the differences would be small. Just make sure you see it in high def. Not all pixar movies click with me I would agree that Nemo is also pretty cool. Easily their second best imo.
