looks like the matrix reloaded. Which is a good thing as it was quite dark and moody. But it better have a shit load of Duke gags or it just fails.

A part of me wants the game to suck horribly, just for all the bullshit that's gone down with this game for over a decade. But another part of me wants the game to be a great quality follow up to Duke Nukem 3D, and throw all the jokes right back into the faces of the shit talkers over the years. Hopefully we'll see what comes to pass before the world ends on December 12th, 2012

I think the jokes are what made Duke a really great game for me.

The levels don't really look as fun and imaginative as the oldschool Duke 3D levels were. Oh well. I guess I really shouldn't get my hopes up .. hell, I shouldn't even have any hopes to get up about it at this point.

I bet most of you hated Duke Nukem 3D, which still manages the title as the most well developed FPS from it's time.

I think it's sufficient punishment that 3D Realms has burned most of its bridges and probably most avenues of outside finance...

Nope. At this point I don't care. There are better games out there. And now they are coming out to invite us and play their overdelayed game that will not surpass what's been done by other games? Fuck them. There are better parties out there in gaming land.

As far as I can tell they restarted development just a few years ago.

I agree with you so far as go stupid things like preordering, limited edition bundles - if the game's that good I'll just wait to play it. I've been waiting this long, and they're not going to hype it up on me...again.
