a little mame help?

can anybody give me al ittle help on mame? i had version .32 running but all of a sudden all the games reset after one level or 1 credit. so i need to install a newer version. can anybody tell me which version would be best?

You're in the wrong forum, but here:

Then get MASH's MAMEinfo, history.dat (from another site), and MAME cheats (pugsy's, IIRC)
