Category mistake. A soul is supposed to be the *subject* of thinking/consciousness, the *thing* that thinks. Since souls are traditionally conceived of as things fundamentally different in kind from bodies (lacking spatial location and spatial properties generally), you probably just want to say that souls don't exist-- the subjects of consciousness/thinking are just organisms with CNSs. If one wants to "live forever", one would better do something special and be remembered long after one's death.
