Everyone complains about disco yet they all love to sing and dance to it.

I kind of like the high pitched goodness of the Bee Gees. But honestly this genre of music was before my time and I've never really delved to deep into it.

Most disco is just about having a good time at a party.

Yes, to some extent but the game lacks a solid disco soundtrack.

70's disco is OK, but the modern continuation of it (house music) is awesome :D I used to spin disco house, and trust me, it will make you shake your booty

Boney M is perhaps one of the finest examples of Disco done right.

Such catchy tunes.

^^ Agreed. I can listen to good disco, but not dance to it. So I say it's not bad.

This is basically my take...I don't mind cheesy disco stuff on the whole, but I have to be in the mood for it to bother seeking it out.

I don't know much about disco, but I do know A Fifth of Beethoven is fantastic. But I'm a sucker for kitsch.

Excellent when there is nothing else to do/play. I can stand it better than most "mainstream" music, at any rate.

My favorite disco tune is the theme to Prom Night. Especially when Jamie Lee Curtis grooves to it.

I have to admit, I have a soft spot for a lot of cheesy Italo stuff. And it will definitely get a party moving if played at the right time.

That is indeed a badass song. Although honestly I admit to being a noob and only being familiar with the version that is on DDR. This is just as good though :)
