STAR WARS FANS MUST HAVE!
The funny thing is, when watching the video I realized that I don't care about Star Wars any more. I think Lucas effectively killed it for me with his regular re-edited CGI-fied re-releases, relentless merchandising and those awful prequels. Seeing the "Star Wars"-name no longer evokes any feelings of any kind.

What this awesome R2D2 projector has to do with the movies?Ceph wrote:The funny thing is, when watching the video I realized that I don't care about Star Wars any more. Both Nikko and Tyco still make/sell pre-built R/C cars today...the quality of them won't be as good as say the kick-ass Japanese Kyosho R/C cars though... ^_~undamned wrote:Wow. So that's what Nikko is up to these days. I remember when all they made was pre-built R/C cars. I think their closest rival then was Tyco, who also made neato slot car tracks.

The Kyosho Mini-Z cars are quite fast and fun to drive...can't wait to see what the newest Kyosho mini R/C cars that are even smaller than the Mini-Z class...crazy but cool minaturized R/C madness! ^_~
I'm surprised that Kyosho would bring out a bona-fide Kyosho Ultima under the Ultima RB5 moniker (RB5 - stands for Racing Buggy "Five")...
Kyosho released the original Ultima under the following names:
Ultima
Turbo Ultima
Ultima Pro (this Ultima variant was super tricked out for it's time)
Ultima II
Triumph (tricked-out Ultima variant)
and the last one,
the Ultima RB5 off-road competition buggy
