Cheapest 100% Working PCB You've ever purchased
This is regardless of game title/quality. We are talking pure cheapness, including shipping (note, in the title, the word "purchased," so "some dude just gave me such and such a PCB" is invalid).
Martial Champions (Konami) - $12 shipped.
Runner-up:
Thundercade (Taito) kit (Marquee, manual, etc.) - $25 shipped.

Fun thread, made me laugh really hard. As in a recognition of good questions kinda way.
For me it was probably Shogun Warriors a.k.a. Fujiyama Buster.
A fighting game, not that bad, but pretty bad nevertheless.
One of those games for which no complete moves list exists.
Ah, the internet. So much, yet so little.
I can't remember what I paid, but it was very little.
Like 10 euro for the board and 6 euro for shipping.
EDIT: How could I forget, yesterday I received Metal Slug X mvs for a total of 23 euro.
Also pretty cheap, richt?
(Weren't they suppose to remove slowdown that was in part 2???????)

I scored a barebones Seibu Kaihatsu SP1 Viper Phase 1 U.S.A. cartridge off of eBay some years back for a mere $20.00+ USD...still is regraded as one of my all-time best cheap-ass arcade shmup deals ever! ^_~
Got a Mr. Driller 2 PCB for a mere fifty smackers. I like how it can be set to either interlaced or non-interlaced option for low-res 15 kHz arcade monitors...

When you put it in interlace mode you can actually tweak your monitor to have it display the interlaced signal with very little or no flicker.PC Engine Fan X! wrote:Got a Mr. Driller 2 PCB for a mere fifty smackers. I scored a complete USA region Gunbird PCB kit minus the factory cardboard box but came complete with said PCB, Psikyo instruction manual, all-English language arcade paperworks and even the rare full-sized American Gunbird marquee as well...all this for a mere $35.00 USD off of eBay quite some time back. Was shocked thinking that I had just won a barebones USA Gunbird PCB but it came with all the cool extras -- think of it as extra frosting on a generous serving of cake... ^_~
Jaleco was the official U.S. distributor of the Gunbird PCB and it did make it's American arcade debut back in May of 1995...
Still has the May 1995 Rev. stickers on some of the socket chips on the ol' USA region Gunbird PCB...

Best deal was about 7 years ago on Ebay I picked up TMNT, Blood Bros, and Ninja Gaiden for $53 including shipping off some vendor in Oklahoma I think it was, and it included marquees for TMNT and Ninja Gaiden, plus manual/stickers for TMNT.
I used to buy $10 boards all the time off Ebay when I first got into Jamma, then I realized why most of them were $10.
