Adam would be a pretty cool title.

If they change it COMPLETELY al la The Magnificent Seven, and transpose the story to a different setting then the film may stand a chance. I fear that the problem will lie in the films pacing, and moreover its depiction of violence, or lack of. Akira needs to be gritty, dirty, and alarmingly grotesque, which with a kiddie friendly NC-17 would be completely impossible.

Both this and the dragonball movie are going to be the best pieces of film ever made. I love the anime, so this movie must be very good.

it will be 18 and over and feature all of my favorite scenes. I heardz they are going to use a real arcade machine as a background prop in one of the scenes.
