Is the Shmups Forum your home page?

Post by MX7 »

I never really put too much thought into it until now, but my girlfriend informed me it's kind of sad to have this site as my homepage. Now of course, I argued my case, it's for finding out the latest news so I don't miss any pre-orders or whatnot, but then I got thinking: is it kind of sad? Is Shmups your home page?

Homepage is so last century.
I just use my last session I had open.
All errors are intentional but mistakes could have been made.

Even though I don't post a lot, it is my home page. It used to be Google but I just use the Google search box, or my Firefox extension to highlight a word(s) and search from there. I always use last session too but IIRC Firefox literally restores your last session as it was, whereas Opera restores the session but updates the pages.

It's essentially my home page, as I check it as soon as I use the computer. It's weird considering there is really nothing here I'm interested in but I like some people. With rob and shoe gone maybe I can start to taper.

You can't, since no Robs have been banned.
No matter how good a game is, somebody will always hate it. No matter how bad a game is, somebody will always love it.

Shmups is mine...

No rational to it, but I'd rather be greeted by this than some whopper of a faceless site. And unlike 95% of the UK's population, I barely use Facebook, so this is my social website. I know the people on Facebook in real life, so I may as well use the net to talk shit with new poeple (and I can't bore my mates with shmups!)

Shmups USED to be for me- (the main site) back when I thought it could actually be updated every once in a blue moon. I check the forums a bit still, though- can't miss info on upcoming games are seeing what oddball stuff gets brough up :P

Some of the best shmups don't actually end in a vowel.

Google here too. I never use it when the search bar is just on top but it loads up fast and looks clean & simple.

Google is mine, and it's probably going to stay like that even though my Firefox also comes with a Google Toolbar.

*Checks the Rob Log*

That's his only post in the last month. Maybe Josh knows something we don't. My prediction: he tried to compile a list of the best N64 shooters and suffered an aneurysm.
