I will be honoring American heroes such as Sitting Bull, Geronimo, and Joaquin Murrieta with a couple beers and some hot dogs. I may also play a couple videogames, depending on how drunk I get.
I think I'll probably go to work, work out at my parent's place, go home, have a glass of scotch and play some shooters. Maybe read some I-Robot, and if my roommate is awake, maybe dive into season 4 of Battlestar Gallactica.
The very 1st thing Ill do is raise a tent then ask the wife for help in taking it down.
Then Ill raise the flag, bathe the dogs, mow the yard & then defend some unsuspecting universe from annihilation with my yet to be perfected shmupping skills.
Oh wow, how uneducated... that's just disrespectful.
Maybe, but Im sure you, just as I, didnt celebrate Yalta's "Victory Day" on May 9th.
So Im guessing that in spite of the US being the center of the universe that a good portion of the forum is not up on all of its holidays...
I know what you're trying to say, but I don't even live in America and I know what it's about. Like asking "What is 9/11?" or something along those lines.
Considering how much people hear about it every year, it's difficult to see people be so oblivious to such events.

We have Guyfawkes here and now we're trying to catch on to Halloween, it's just plain stupid. (They sell the same fireworks EVERY year, it's so boring to see those 10 shot sticks year in, year out..)
Other than the usual Bratwurst (they're like Crack to me) that I'll be eating, I figure I'll play something military-related. It's good timing that I picked up Metal Gear Solid: The Essential Collection last Friday, too So either one of the MGS games or Day of Defeat.
