RQ: Blue wish Reserection Plus v1.11

On the options there is an on and off option named "wait", what does it do exactly?

WAIT mode is normally an option to simulate arcade slowdown in more powerful hardware. I assume in this case that turning WAIT Off will return the game to the playable speed of the original BWR (leaving it On will result in the more intensive slowdown offered in BWR+ 1.0).
