japan also has a very bad habit of drastically cutting budgets for shows that have no action in them, leaving the people working on it to go the safe route, much like what american cartoons have become.

though to be honest I'm starting to see that this is going to change rather soon. if not this decade, then the next one. people ARE starting to get sick of this drop in quality, as gradual as it has been to drag out over several years. (late 90s was where it became quite apparent.)

I disagree. I think it can be used well. Alough it does get used in a negative way more than a positive way. Fire for instance, Has never looked better.

I just saw this.

It was like finding Jesus, but not reacting to it. He was wearing aviators and he handed me a glass of Rumple Mintz on the rocks. He laughed with a degree of cheese I could cringe to. He passed a blunt over. I said "no" but he exhailed so much I took in the fumes anyway. I paid $6 and I smiled a lot during the movie. I knew exactly what was going to happen and yet I said to myself, "this is different." I am satisfied.

That is what the movie was like.

If I could hug the IMAX, I would hug the IMAX. I heart IMAX. :)

Despite a scene involving what looked to be a Hokuto No Ken parody, I think they would do well to release Speed Racer 1.1, with every scene that primarily involves Sprigle and Chim-Chim being removed. God that kid was annoying. Still a fun movie though. It's a shame that the sales won't reflect it since some GENIUS decided to release this movie between Iron Man and Indy 4.
