Houseflies I hate, they die on sight or I snag them out the air, then throw them under hot water, then wash my hands afterwards to clean those germs off.
Dragonflies on the other hand I will not harm, I consider them nature's little biplanes.

You do realize that if you ever admit doing so, I'd have to kill you!?Pixel_Outlaw wrote:Do they make bug zappers powerful enough to zap terriers and cats? We have an infestation thanks to the elderly couple next door.

(I'll excuse you only if they're JR terriers I could see this through my fingers) - I loathe them.

Death by electric racket. If I see a fly, centipede, or spider (my house has too many spiders) and it doesn't find a way out or keep out of sight, it's dead. I haven't seen a roach at my last few residences yet but I would definitely hunt it down.
A harmless, clean ladybug, grasshopper, or bee? I'd try to get it back outside unharmed. We used to have a beehive in our backyard and they were very chill bees; never bothered us one bit, kept other bugs away, and one day they just went on and left their little beehive as a memento.
Those electric paddles are great (esp. against mosquitos, which they were designed for; you can catch fireworks holding one against a mosquito infested area) although they're not very powerful. I've tried to kill giant roaches with them before and it just brushes off their armor shell like a minor sting or even a massage effect against the larger types. I know someone who accidentally hit his finger and it only caused a sting.

in the very first wii video theres a video of some woman trying to swat flies in it.Shatterhand wrote:They should make a wii controller of that. It would make a great game. "Kill the Dengue Mosquitoes"Ruldra wrote:I have this to deal with insects:
Basically, you press a button and the racket becomes electrified. Anything caught on it will be zapped to death. Very useful around here.
Do I feel guilty? BWAHAHA

You slowly dance around bowing and pointing your toes after a killing a bug?

Flies I kill on the spot. My cats go apeshit trying to catch them, so flies go before objects start getting broken. Bees and wasps are the same, but with more urgency since they can hurt you. Beetles, moths, and things like fire flies, I catch and put outside. They're basically harmless, so why kill them? Spiders are a mixed bag. If it's bigger than a 3/4 of an inch, and not a daddy longleg, it's dead. If it's smaller than that and not nasty looking, I leave it be. Ants get instant death.

I just leave them all alone.
