does anyone know if any of the initial D racing games games were released in europe??
mainly the ps1, ps2 or gameboy versions
ive become addicted to V4 down at the trocadero so was looking for some home initial d action

no Initial D games made the home ports in the EU.
theres a good chance the PS3 version (which is a reworking of ID4) will do. The JP version is out on the 3 of July.

Both Initial D and Wangan Midnight for that matter will never see a release out of Japan, dunno about nintendo hand helds though. these games have alot of text and speach and they cannot be bothered to convert it and few even know/appreciate the series.
As for the ps3 release I highly doubt it will be released out of Japan.
Well, ok a (HK) Asia might be possible.
But who cares? you can get the Japanese version and play it on every ps3 known to man. I know I will! It's my most highly anticipated game to get. This and BlazBlue offcourse.
I got the Japanese ps2 Initial D, which is great and cheap below 20 eur from yesasia. I alos have Wangan Midnight for ps3 which is not as great, but still a underappreciated game IMHO. The ps1 Initial D I never played, it's probably reasonable, not great, but not supre bad either. Good luck!

Damn Tim, you know there are quite a few Americans out there who still lives in tents due to this shitty economy, and you're dropping loads on a single game which only last 20 min. Do you think it's fair? How much did you spend this time?
