Don't drive matey - public transport for me!now all we need is a pic of your car to qualify you as a true playa-pimp
On the way...it's been delayed about 3 times already, but they're due in a large shipping container in the first week's of May, so I'm hoping to have it before the end of said month. I'll be sure to update this thread when that bad boy rolls in!One question -- Where's the Egret II?
I was thinking of engaging in this sort of shameless self-indulgence myself at some point.
All my posters are original - If there's enough interest, I'll get around to photographing all the other SNK ones. I have a ton!Shock Troopers poster is badass. Is that original?
Are you kidding - the amount of praise you guys have given her so far, she's loving it!Also, hot girlfriend. Not sure she appreciates your post though.
At the detriment of food.nice collection dude, thats not half bad a PCB collection for just 4 months!
Lol, you're damn right there. They're shit (although 3 has some redeeming factors.) I bought them all a couple of months ago and played through in order to see what the fuss was all about, and then wrote a quick review (which Rupert has probably seen.) Needless to say, I was pretty unimpressed. I'd post it here but it doesn't qualify for this forum.A lot of good taste (except for the Halo's ).

Dude, Shock Troopers poster does rock. Do you have a Metal Slug original poster? That would rule.Skykid wrote:All my posters are original - If there's enough interest, I'll get around to photographing all the other SNK ones. I have a ton!Shock Troopers poster is badass. Is that original?

We rent at the moment, and even though the flat is spacious, storage space is at a minimum. I can't start drilling holes and putting shelves up, or my deposit is shot.Have you considered looking into shelves and their usage?

Saves space, keeps them organized and off of tables/rugs/floors, makes for much easier dusting, etc. All you need are shelving towers like this (or taller/sans the L-bend section) which can be lined up along a wall. You might look wall space for hanging stuff, but you'll gain a hell of a lot of floor and desk and table space. Ikea, Home Depot or another such store probably has a shit load of such shelves for relatively cheap.Skykid wrote:I've got a huge original Metal Slug X poster!Do you have a Metal Slug original poster? Besides, even if I put them on shelves, I'd still like them to be neatly boxed up - I'm not even sure I understand the benefit of having them on shelves tbh?!

The damage that can occur from setting bare electronics on carpet happens instantaneously (electro-static discharge, ESD), so letting them touch the carpet at all is a no-no (i.e. humans are not faster than static electricity).Skykid wrote:They were only on the carpet for a minute, then back in the boxes full of bubble wrap.
