Japanese Xbox 360 Exclusives + bonus question :P

Post by Battlesmurf »

Alrighty- did some searching here, and half-assed on yahoo- trying to get some idea of Japan exclusive 360 titles. I don't imagine there to be too many- but does anybody have anything to add other than-

(sp) Oneechanbara vorteX (fixed :P)
DOJ/Ketsui (unreleased)
Raiden Fighters Aces
Shikigami 3

Also- if one has a US system- with a gamertag on the HD or a memory card- and gets a Japanese Xbox 360- and uses the memory card- will the Japanese Achievements 'stick'.

All this to say I'm curious- though I'm not going to be making any major purchases anytime soon- I just haven't found this information documented anyplace else (yet).

edit: had some time to play around on the net- fixed the first game.

Tales of Vesperia is so far X360 exclusive.

He said Japanese 360 exclusives, not ones that aren't out yet and have been announced for the US already.

Also.. Oneechanbara isn't very good. Earth Defense Force, however, is bundles of fun.

The 360 Earth Defence Force game has had a western release.

Am I a bad person for wanting a UK release of Idolm@ster more than Raiden Fighters? :P

What's bad about Oneechanbara? I really enjoyed the special edition of the second PS2 one (Simple 2000 Vol. 101).

Ah, yeah, it's only the 2D tales that get the shaft.

Never said it didn't. Actually I'm surprised that it was localized, since the US is so anti-terror and you can easily blow up buildings in this game which are the size of those towers from 9/11.

Oneechanbara VorteX is decent, but the level design is as bad as Pacman. It might be worth a look at the Platinum version though.
