World Reborn has been completed for more than a year now. Unfortunately, the publisher (Destination Software) is really bad about releasing games on time. I remember a similar thing happening with Wade Hixton's Counterpunch.
The 2-d Xyanide came out for mobile phones I think. So I'd assume the GBA version is complete. Who knows if it will ever be released though
Project A is most likely cancelled.

Good luck or cry.

The World Reborn rom is available from the NeoPong website.......I guess this never got a full release, so they are giving it to us in rom format? That's pretty cool.........this would fall under a legal rom category, correct?

it took a moment to realize this thread is ancient and got resurrected because of the world reborn rom....many thanks for the headsup postman!
xyanide for the gba got definitively canned, as far as i know it never got publicly cancled but don't think it will ever be released either. the gba version did look different from the mobile phone game that did get released.

well nothing really i guess.Specineff wrote:I tried the PSP Xyanide and was extremely disappointed. The only thing it lived up to was its reputation as an Euro shmup. Don't see what's so great about the series.
but the GBA game was nothing like the psp/xbox/phone game. instead it was a neat looking sprite-based hori with, iirc, an organic/mechanic attack-switching system. promising enough to pique curiosity. and then it never happened. ;_;
also hey thanks postman, nice find. ^__^
