I'm having trouble setting up Shikigami 3 on my PC. First, I have a landscape primary monitor and a tate secondary monitor. The tate monitor is 1024*1280 so it should be able to contain 2x resolution setting. However, it seems the game is only looking at my primary monitor and locked the 2x option... Is there anyway to override this or get it to recognize my tate monitor?
Secondly I am unable to set the keys. I have two controllers and the one I usually use has been automatically picked as player 2. How to change it to player 1? And when I try to change the keys it freezes, no matter what I press. Strange thing is I was able to do that on a friend's computer. Any ideas?

Sorry, can't help you either, except that I do know it IS possible to set it on full screen on a secondary tate, because I managed to do it before somehow. 2x was also available. Then I didn't play it for some time and now I'm having the same problem as you, the screen mode (yoko/tate) option is disabled and so are 1.5x and 2x.
Hmm - Was there some way to "send desktop/windows to monitor 2" or something? Is there a way to select on which display a program starts?
I'm using a yoko laptop (ATI Mobility Radeon X2300) with external tate lcd. I got Windows Vista because I foolishly thought that since it's a new OS it can probably handle external displays, rotations, tv-outs and stuff better. Yeah rite
This is the reason I've completely given up playing pc games.

just switch your tate monitor to the primary before you play and disable the normal screen.....
i have no idea why it is auto-loading your controller to player 2.....but it doesnt matter really....its a shmup....it not like it limits you to the right side of the screen or something....
dunno why it wont let you configure the controls either....what kind of controller are you using?

I am using a custom stick I built myself, which uses a Blaze twin stick PCB. I don't think that's the issue though. 'cause normally you can press a key on the keyboard and it realizes that player uses the keyboard. Now it won't even let me do that - it simply freezes.
About switching to primary, yeah I thought of that, but that will mess up my desktop icons and I'd like to avoid that....

i have mine setup so that my main screen is simply cloned on my tate screen....because it uses more of the graphics cards power to run 2 monitors at once i will sometimes get slowdown in hi res games like shiki 2 and 3 if i have both screens running....
so before i play em i simply go into my graphics card control panel and disable the main monitor....then it just displays on the tate screen....and when im done playing i just enable the main again and set it back to primary...
i dont see how this would mess up your desktop icons
and maybe try joy2key....it might work

Because when I swap my primary monitor the icons got flushed to my tate. Then when I swap it back the icons are no longer where they used to be because the desktop space was different
Also joy2key won't work as I can't even set the keys to keyboard... It registered the two controllers as the two that I don't want to use (tried unplugging them, but it just doesn't recognize any controls in this case). The problem is that it FREEZES preventing me from mapping another controller to it
