While I seriously doubt that the 32X upscales the graphics of Genesis games, a bigger concern for me is hearing that the unit can break Genesis games-if this is true.
Perhaps they're just talking about EA carts, that have a different shape then most Genny carts?
Will a 32X break Genesis games?...

Will a 32X break Genesis games?...

Of course it won't, it's designed to be used with Genesis and/or 32X games. As for the slot, it's actually bigger than the one on the Genesis. I have about 130 Genesis games and have never had a problem with any of them after playing them through the 32X.

We here shall not rest until we have made a drawing-room of your shaft, and if you do not all finally go down to your doom in patent-leather shoes, then you shall not go at all.

LOL at enhancing the graphics. Anyway, the 32X doesn't work period for Virtua Racing due to the SVP chip (MegaCart doesn't work either for what it matters). Not sure if there are any other compatibility issues. Never had any issues reading other games though. Also, the metal shield plates are really just for extreme precautions and aren't necessary for use (in fact, they won't fit on a 32X).
