They are/were actually a good death metal band that sounded more like Death and Sepultura than nu death metal.

i'm liking blazing lazers. sometimes videogame related names can work (ie Rival Schools - first album United by Fate). and also Borstal Escape Project

apocalyptic blues rock was a phrased coined by hendrix, i think. meaning blues music without lots of changes (ie the usual I - V - VII or whatever), and long instrumental sections. think voodoo chile (as opposed to voodoo child), dazed and confused, when the levee breaks, etc.
