Counter stop is impossible I think, last reported record was about 75mil. (I could be wrong?)stratos wrote:@DEL: you're playing this, do you plan to counterstop it as you did with Batsugun Special???

Good points raised. Once I started playing more frequently I decided to make the move from Remu to Rose. Where the hell are names like Tia Riel, G Pain and Egzerg being taken from?Icarus wrote:Knowing when to use the special Awakening attack is also key to good scoring, as it has the benefits of making you invincible, keeping you in Mech Form, and tripling your speed, making it easier to amass and collect lots of Medals. The powerdown that results is small change if you can manage your Power and Guard bars carefully.
Don't know how you guys play as the Egzerg though. Even though the Egzerg has good speed, range and power, I've always had better results playing as the Tia Riel (central selection, with the Pilum as the melee weapon). ^_-
Regardless of that, I think she has the best range with the sword attack while keeping the destruction field narrow and focused. This allows easier medal juggling overall, or at least juggling that's easier to control. In addition while in normal ship mode, I prefer the homing type side shot she provides. This is handy for any destructable missile type attacks. Although, I have a noticed a faster recharge on 'CORE' / Charge sword attack(CSA) for destructable objects like missiles or those red/blue energy bombs rather than with Shot.
I will say, it would be dynamite to see some high score footage from this. Heck, even a 60mil run would be extremely interesting.

Good luck. Even after several years I still can't find a thing besides small guides and stuff. I haven't played it for a very long time, too, and have probably forgotten everything.Limbrooke wrote:I will say, it would be dynamite to see some high score footage from this. Which would usually be a good excuse to pick it up again... if it wasn't for other things.

I'm starting to get hang of the first four stages now. How many are they?
Btw, the fifth boss, "the dragon in the lava" is very impressive. Great to look at, and has som of the most enjoyable bullet patterns I've played so far. I'm eager to see the latter bosses in this game.

You mean Artificial Seraph?
To be honest, the 2nd form is what gave me the most trouble. The one part where the satellites come up and lasers reflect all over. They all get aimed at you anyway, so you pretty much have to tap dodge (random luck, really).
Also, when entering the 3rd form, the attack formation is really random, and I actually got all the easiest attack patterns thrown at me when I did this run. The only attack that didn't get thrown at me was the one with the giant cannon that fires out those "giant bullets that does spread fire from behind".
