Ever met those kids? Those people?

Post by lgb »

You know how some kids and people just see things... weirdly? I'm sure most of you see this some of the time, and some of you see this most of the time.

Those kids, maybe 6 or 7 years old, who just hear someone say something, and give the strangest response? Something that you wouldn't expect out of these kids; something that might take you 20 minutes to realize, yet could take another of these "abstract" people about 5 seconds.

Every met those people?

I am one of those people, though most introverts tend to be to at least some degree.
I try to balance it out though, my mind is in constant realism vs idealism battle because of it.

Question: Do you have to be "like that" to come up with such an insightful signature?

I'm something of an introvert, but I don't go flying off on strange mental journeys to come up with answers to what people say to me. I just tend to get to the core of the topic faster.

Never. That was just common sense, or well what I think is common sense. You can't necessarily take my word for it though. I was confirmed in that situation, not a preacher till now. And still not preaching. 8)

I've just noticed that.

Isn't that where all the foreigners like to play though? Either way I don't think George Carlin ever lived in Japan.

Roppongi is in Japan and there are lots of Japanese people in Roppongi.

Who is George Carlin?

But the ones acting like Jackasses are the foreigners. Crime rate, considering the levels of alcohol and military-based testosterone are low though. I've only heard of one murder there, and it was a foreigner that shot another one. I think maybe there was a few Yak related ones a while back, and a few over doses a couple of years ago.

For the record, there's plenty of rape in Japan. There's far more train groping though. The dynamic of houses on top of each other even in small cities makes it a harder feat to accomplish as well.

I, for one, find this thread a highly stimulating exploration of alternate forms of my brand of humor
