It obviously is supposed to say something to effect of "prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law." And if you think about, if you have some weird dyslexic issues, jam and law aren't too dissimilar. Add a dot to the top of the L, turn the W upside down, and voila, it's almost "jam"
Well, here's how I'd change it:
VIOLATOR*S* *ARE* SUBJECT TO SEVERE PENALTIES AND WILL BE PROSECUTED** TO THE FULL EXTENT OF THE *LAW*
Error corrections:
1. singular "violator" to plural "violators"
2. nonsensical "and" to sensical "are"
3. misspelled "prosecutedt" to correctly spelled "prosecuted"
4. nonsensical "jam" to sensical "law"

Or even better, they could have just made a few edits to what they already had:Vexorg wrote:Someone should have told the translators, "Why don't you try hard?"

well, still a weird connection, but it does make sense , cuz if these were translated by some japanese peeps, "Law" would normally misspelled as "Raw"... but "jam", it's too far off..alpha5099 wrote: It obviously is supposed to say something to effect of "prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law." My thoughts exactly Alpha. Its a similar "play of words". I guess, its supposed to be cool somehow...
