Assholes who get on their high horse and look down on people because they think themselves more educated and better as a person, in their own little world, intolerant or ignorant of how other people feel or think.

Hypocrisy, treachery, unnecessary cruelty, complete lack of intellectual curiosity, unfounded stubbornness, doing stupid things just to make a point, utter disrespect for others' opinions and personal space, greed as an end in itself.

I don't hate it all as much — I'm just usually trying to isolate myself from that when possible. I'm not the fighter type, evidently, more like a voluntary hermit.
Ceph wrote:ignorance and lack of education
So you hated yourself before going to school, or something? You can't educate yourself on everything, so there'll always be a reason to hate anyone, following your words.

- The old, tired gaming clichés... "________ doesn't have any good games", M$, $ony, PoS2, HEUGBOX, Lamecube, etc. Grow up people.

- The phrase, "I could care less". I personally don't care too much when it comes to spoken (or written) grammar from other people, but that phrase bugs me. I know damn well it's "I couldn't care less", but I've yet to meet one person who says it in the way that it actually makes sense.

- Word filters on websites. Possibly the most asinine invention for the web. If it's a site designed more for kids to visit, I can see their being used for the big, nasty words (you know, fuck, shit, cunt, etc). But when they're applied to normal everyday words just for the hell of it, they're utterly moronic.

- People who feel talking on a cell phone is more important that actually paying attention to their driving. Sorry folks, but you're just not that busy or important. Leave the fucking thing alone until you get to where you're going.

- People who aren't native English speakers who get pissed off at you because you can't understand them through their thick accents and broken sentence structure... especially on the phone. Which leads me to...

- Phone technical assistants, native English speakers or not, who mumble half of what they say, and can't FUCKING ENUNCIATE! Stop mush mouthing you're instructions like you're Chris Cornell, and speak up!

- When people are way too anal about little things, and are quick to jump down someone's throat over any slight deviation... like over supposed definitions :P

Shops that keep game discs in a drawer. I just bought Tomb Raider: Anniversary today and when I got it home and looked at the scratched up (supposedly brand new) disc, I knew my 360 wasn't going to like it. Sure enough there's a point an hour in where the game consistently crashes. Hope they've got another copy :?

That's why I almost never buy the last copy of a game, unless I really want it. If they're there, I do my best to get one of the sealed copies that are kept separate from the gutted ones.

I see this kind of crap all the time:

"the proof is in the pudding" should be "the proof of the pudding is in the eating".
"money is the root of all evil" should be "the love of money is the root of all evil" (depending on translation)
"for all intensive purposes" should be "for all intents and purposes"

etc.

I have to agree, although overzealous ones sometimes produce hilarious results.

By that I obviously mean adults in non-third world countries (=people who had a chance to get an education).

Also exempted are space aliens, dead people, ponies and Mickey Mouse.

That was the number one on my list.

But now my number one is event/thing your employers "wish" you to attend/do in your private time. e.g. company's annual retreat, annual dinner, prepare for a performance during company's event, training, attend class, charity donation, work overtime without pay, stay on call during your leave....

Things that they "expect" you to do that would costs you money and time without compensation.

The worst thing if some of your co-workers obey, you are forced to follow suit, otherwise, when time for promotion and salary rise you got a lower priority. Switching job won't help, it is the culture over here.

Some might say training / attend class might not be a bad idea, but I say human being has a limited life span, the time one would be able to work is even shorter. After you got to a certain age, investing in yourself would not be as profitable as other forms of investment. Since you have to be able to work to get back what you invested in yourself.

But if you are invested in stock / bond / fund, you just have leave your money there and you would got paid (well you have to know how to do it safely). You got paid, even you are so sick that you are bed ridden. And no one could fired you as an investor.

OT: I always wondered about this. Seems click-to-donate sites basically amount to one penny per day.

Its all questionable to a degree I guess. Im know there are very disreputable sites out there but sometimes you just gotta believe.

This site claims: ( And Ive no reason to doubt their sincerity. Yet... )

"With each click you've given the value of .6 bowls of food to rescued animals."

"100% of sponsor advertising fees goes to their charitable partners."

This statement along with a graph showing monthly totals is posted on their website.

"Today, you and others have generated the value of 60,923 bowls of food. Thank you! (Please note that the click value updates every ten minutes.)

Your clicks count! Since The Animal Rescue Site began in 2002, together we have funded more than 126,000,000 bowls of food for rescued animals in shelters and sanctuaries. Please see the results page to learn more about how you have helped. "

So it seems legit & its definately worth a couple of clicks. IMO...

people who have a go at you becuase you dont enjoy drinking water, Dude it tastes of nothing I can fell just as refreshed by putting some cordial in it get off my fucking back already its my fucking choice.

People who look down on me when i swear, because when i get on a roll i can swear a lot. I assure you telling me not to swear just triggers the swearing function in my brian to do it more.

Cold days, and windy cold days (with or without wet)

Diet soft drinks, they totally defeat the pouropse of soft drinks. if your really on a diet why not get a juice carton or a water or something. Pepsi Max (and pepsi max syles drinks) I can kinda get because of its no sugar and diabetics don't like sugar (aparentley im no expect on the subject)
