Yeah, that's that same guy who has dumped hundreds of PCBs over the last ten years, free of charge, so we can play the things for free.

He probably gets those emails every day with people bitching and complaining about how this doesn´t work 100% the way they expected and how to get ROMs while he is doing all this work for free, so I can kind of relate how how he got bitter over the years and wants to let off some steam.

With all arrogance and flaming on the side though, Guru said that he's having a hard time with it. I don't speak computer language, so I can't say exactly what he said, but he said it's pretty much 50% emulated so far, that's all I know. Trust me, I'd give a handjob for a Ketsui rom.

Fair enough point. I'd thought it myself. I'm just pained by all the anit-MAME vs Pro MAME debate going round and round in circles. But I guess I can't complain about a topic getting dull when I'm posting the same old dull response to it.

EDIT: On topic, while Guru's done a great deal and while the service he provides might be great he's just not witty enough and not receiving good enough emails to be witty about. He should give himself a break and when he's not dumping just turn the internet off...

Sorry Pixel Corps. I honestly wasn't trying to imply your email to him was a bad idea. I would certainly do the same. That wasn't what I was getting at at all.

What I meant is that polite enquiries about ROM dumps and the like don't make for great material to take the piss out of. Just looking at the one's Guru's brought to attention on his page - he resorts to mocking somebody for asking if something's for sale. That's scraping the comedy barrel!
