i noticed that in the beggining of the first level, the gfx are vector like (also in the intro) is this normal?? note: i haven't played the Arcade version yet...

Yeah. Border Down is one of a few games that is nice enough to give you credits setting in the options menu. I set it to zero (or maybe 1, they might consider starting a game to be a credit), so I don't have to deal with the annoyances of the Game Over countdown. That option can probably be used to up the credits too.

Not true. I've beating Border Down three times now, and no free play was ever granted. I've been playing with 9 credits for a while now. Maybe it might give it to you if you beat the game on all three borders. Who knows.
Beat it in both remix and arcade, but honestly I think its time related for free play. Also unlocking all practice areas could play a part theres so many variables, thats why its so dam good.
