So I'm making a ps2 rgb cable for my pvm monitor out of a stock ps2 SCART cable.
I notice that the cable features 2 grounds, but neither are connected to the video ground pin. Can I use either ground as the video ground for the PVM, or would this not work?
thanks,
King.

update, I was able to get some display, but everything is all Green. Could this mean that the Capacitor on the Green is useless?

Go into the PS2 system configuration (from the dashboard). Check that the component video output is set to RGB and not YPbPr (or YCbCr or whatever).
I think this is it... I've never owned a RGB monitor though and only just started trying out component.
