AWSD + XRGB2?

I've just got a cab and I was wondering if the XRGB2 would produce a better picture for 15khz games than the monitor would display with a native 15khz signal?

If such a setup works fine, is there a cheap way of getting the CP into my consoles such as the PS2?

I really doubt the upscaled picture is going to look better than the original 15khz.

it depends on the monitor really. i get better results than alot of cabs i've seen, but i've seen cabs that looked better also. but they are close regardless.
Damn Tim, you know there are quite a few Americans out there who still lives in tents due to this shitty economy, and you're dropping loads on a single game which only last 20 min. Do you think it's fair? How much did you spend this time?
