the advantage in black label compared with white label:
- the pcb is far more expensive
- you get more points
- you can get a higher chain
- there are more slowdowns
- the game rank is lower at all
- there are minor differences in the stages itself, like the intervall of enemy groups is shorter -> the stage will be very few seconds shorter
difficulty is dependant on how well you play, but basically white label is marginally harder on the first loop; black label is marginally harder on the 2nd loop. a few gameplay things were ironed out for BL as well

it is even worser at white label if you can guess
Not necessarily. I die on the easy (unaltered) parts of the stage 2 boss. Easier to increase the rank though, w/ BL. I've always used like 10 hypers by stage 3.

the 2nd boss is a pain for everyone.
Firstly there is the 1st random part, which can be very annoying when an almost undodgable curtain narrows you in a corner and catch you, and after that, there is the fast but disastrous 2nd part, which can subtrahate you another unexpectedly life.
The PS2 controller doesnt really help you out there
type B is good for survival, but because the shot (C button) is so wide, it's difficult to keep small enemies alive for the purpose of keeping a chain. so type A Expert is probably the most balanced. if you aren't too fussed on chaining, you could play as A-S. it has a large bomb stock; the shot isn't as wide as type B-S, but that ship is just way too slow.
not bad mate you're steadily improving - you'll be on 100+ soon i'm sure
i credit feed it all the time too, definitely worth it in the long run. stage 5 isn't really that bad. am i the only one who finds ketsui to be the tougher game...?

thanx yeah the 1CC and 100m+ is what im aiming for.
ill go back to ketsui after this i think, i always thought DOJ was ridiculously hard, was never even near the 1CC before let alone stages 4 and 5.. altho ive played alot of ketsui and came somewhat close to the last boss on that, might do better this time around
ed: btw what are the 2nd loop requirements?
the destruction of everything, is the beginning of something new. your whole world is on fire, and soon, you'll be too..
Requirements: Any of the following :
- Deaths is Less than 2
- Less than 3 bombs used
- Get the x2 bee in three stages or more (a death during a level will mean you can't get the x2 on the last bee. deaths on the bosses are fine)
You can get 2 hypers from the 1st boss by the time he does that attack of those spinning things near him, destroy them at that time and youll get 2 hypers
