Pulstar on XBox

Hi, a friend from a brazillian shoot' em up forum have a doubt.

How to play Pulstar on XBox? He tried to use Kawax, FBAxxx, Mame but all the times appears this screen:

He tried a different versions from the emulators and roms. He have the neo geo bios but the game not functions correctly.

Hi, not is bad rom because my friend tested in PC emulator and played without problem.

In Brazil, the girl in my avatar is Chiquinha

, I thought no one or a some guys knows who is this girl. Chaves (not Hugo Chavez) is the best!

the graphic roms were redumped at some point, so it has to be an incorrect romset.

I had gfx glitches with Pulstar too, and Blazing Star. I just had to try different roms until one worked. I'm using FBAxxx Pro 1.28 and my Pulstar.zip is 17.8MB (18,755,764 bytes) if that's any help.

Some neo geo roms are too big for the RAM of the Xbox.

Check to see how big the ROM is, if its bigger than 40meg you can't play it. You got to remember these are zipped files as well.

ROMs over 40meg have been working for a couple of years now, ever since the emu makers figured out how to use the harddrive cache for virtual ram. For example, Metal Slug 3 is 76meg zipped, and it runs fine in FBAxxx and MAMEdOX.

Pulstar's full rom size is 305 Mbit, or around 38.12 MB.

I'm not sure how popular "El Chavo del Ocho" is in Brasil, but almost everyone who's ever lived in a Latin America country knows of the show. The exceptions haven't really lived there.

It's my favorite show ever, and I never get tired of watching reruns.
