There's the Recca VHS...unfortunately neither the bare cassette nor its contents reveal anything about who did it. It originally came with a booklet which would most likely reveal all that info, but that I sadly don't have.

This is everything the booklet-less VHS tells us.
No matter how good a game is, somebody will always hate it. No matter how bad a game is, somebody will always love it.

I won a DVD copy of the Radiant Silvergun Gamest tape from the guy who runs Silver Translations. The player is ECM-S.I. (if you care about listing players) and I forget how much he scores. How does the T-WIZ tape compare?

t-wiz scores higher if i recall correctly, ayways, i wont be listing bootlegs of other releases (atleast try not to), the gamest VHS tape is already listed.

Icarus> that Dangun you listed is the one with the small booklet right?

jpj> excellent list, keep em coming :D and can anyone verify if there really is a C-S gamest DDP VHS ?

Yes.

This thread will balloon quite a bit if/when people start listing doujin releases. Perhaps seperate the main list into official stuff (like Mushi Futari DVD) and "unofficial" stuff (like the Feveron DVD), so people know what to look out for?

i have the gamest radiant silvergun one as well. he scores 24.0 million, stage 4 route, and there's a little omake section with penta and the practice stage. although it's 24 million, this is actually one of the most amazing superplays you will ever watch in its historical context. this guy made 24 million....3 months after the arcade release :!: :!: :!: i've got 20 million, and i've owned the game for about three years

also, what actually is CKDF? is that an arcade? i seem to remember it being part of the raiden 2's player's name on the inh dvd (??)

and even though he doesn't like to sell them, due to copyright infringement, i've got some of ben's dvds too. and they should have an honourable mention:

Maybe this isn't exactly the right place to ask this... but I'm interested in making a superplay DVD eventually. Anyone know how exactly I could go about doing it?

ZBL-NAI's DDP-The Professional: Part 2 on VHS tape

Yep, that's the Gamest Video Vol. 39 of ZBL-NAI's C-S DDP Superplay alrighty...an entire 60 minutes in duration. I've had it converted to DVD-R format for posterity & even has custom printed out DVD cover for generic DVD case to boot. ^_~

ZBL-NAI also did another very limited production run DDP Superplay VHS release produced on his own that's even higher than his previous record shown on that particular Gamest Vol. 39 DDP Superplay. I handled the DVD-R format conversion of ZBL-NAI's 2nd run "DDP-The Professional: Part 2" VHS release for oxtsu some time back... ^_~

Just a doubt: is there a Psyvariar 2 DVD in standalone edition? I know only of the PS2 bundle. That is one of the superplays I'd love to watch.

Re: RayZ (ray series) - Taito (Bundle with OST)
I never bought the Rayz box set because I already had all three of the regular games OSTs. Could anyone who has this give a brief description of what exactly is on this DVD please?
I also have the RayStorm Laserdisc superplay and I'm assuming this will be on there somewhere? But is there also a full superplay for the other two games? Thanks much...!

There are only superplays for Raystorm and Raycrisis on the DVD. My guess is the Raystorm superplay is the one from the old VHS/laserdisc releases, much like how the Darius Gaiden superplay on the Darius Rebirth DVD is the one from the Darius Gaiden VHS/Laserdisc that had the funky live action stuff in it.

Where the Raycrisis superplay is from I have no idea. Also, its a pity there is no Rayforce superplay on the DVD, thats the one I would want to see the most.

mine is a 106 million, shooting type, player name T.B (who i think is actually secretly ISO)

edit: fairly sure T.B is ISO now. i mentioned in another thread that ISO was a great melty blood player (2d fighter), and T.B is the name he uses for that. he also uses the name ZNA sometimes.

Where can i get Strikers1945 1 & 2 dvd from?

Post by Mills »

As the above states, where can i get them from? i need to see how these japanese shumpers are getting such ridiculously highscores from, specifically on the 1st loop? Also is there a superplay video for Truxton2? this game was so hard in japan around 1992, that only two shumpers could 2nd loop it.
