i need help finding the name of a shmup game!

ok i need help on finding it .
i dont have much details in the game but i have been searching a yr to find the name because when i was little i used to play it.
okay i only remember few details of the ame whic are:
that it was side crolling ---->

the first level was in the sky above the clouds(you could see the clouds)

the last level when you beat that last boss you go backward and then a

big hawk like bird will appear his only attacks were i think that he makes just eyeballs appear out of nowhere on the screen then i think they go straight for you.

also when you are about to play a level i think you are going to pck which weapon you are going to use i know some or two which are that one homes on eneimies. one is like the spread bomb(like super r-type spread bomb)and when you are destroying the enemies you will see a bar on top of the screen and when that bar fuills up your weapon will be upgraded and when it is fully upgraded the thing on the back of the ship will go in front of he enemys and shoot them i think.

My best guess would be EDF (Earth Defense Force).

I'm assuming SNES port [Super EDF]

omg i just checked and that was it thnx guys i was looking for that game for a long time.
