For US (PS2) Kiki Kai World and Japan (Wii) it's called "Yukinko Daisenpuu.
Hmmm... Which version to get? Japanese or US...

Where did they say there would be an Wii version? Does it got progressive scan support? :o

Official website is alive!

Pre-order at play-asia, release date reads Dec.20.

I don't see anything at yesasia yet.

edit: found the listing at yesasia when scanning the future releases. Gave it a different name but I think this is the correct game. Placing my pre-order now.

What are you on? UFO Interactive is still handling Kiki Kai World: Take a look.

Oops, yes I had forgotten about the US PS2 version.

And LOL at NCSX's 'shopped cover. But it's a nice one, I would not mind if the retail version used the same art. Much better than what's on UFO's page.

I think there's two of them. I kinda make heads and tails of this thread but I'm not sure.

Well, you said "huh, it's not been cancelled?" and I pointed you to a post in this thread that was posted 6 weeks prior, that answered that exact uestion quite clearly.

I'm glad it got it's own site now. Just today I was thinking it was going to get canned, since there hasn't been any news on it since summer.

LMAO @ renamed for localization. It's the 80's again!

And.... that "Heavenly" almost looks like it could be:

I don't care as long as the core gameplay is intact. So, is there a release date for this sucker?

It wouldn't have made sense to call the fifth game in the series Kiki Kakai 2, anyway.

Kiki Kaikai [anything] would though.

Still nothing on a release date? Other than the "December" that gamefaqs is saying, because I doubt that.

IGN are saying "TBA 2008", so I doubt that December release date is correct.

IIRC even the Japanese Wii release doesn't use the "Kiki Kaikai" title anymore (licensing issues, I'd guess), so in this case it's not entirely the localizers' fault. Has anyone translated what the Japanese title ("Yukinko Daisenpuu ~Sayuki to Koyuki no Hie-Hie Daisoudou") means, anyway?

It was released in Japan on 12/20/2007. You can see some different gameplay vids through the links in this thread:
