they didn't mention the book with the (pre-)order of the espgaldua II dvd either and it was included when i received mine from them. so
warning: a huge warning sign is approaching fast!

worth noting that the maniac and ultra discs don't have clear sound on a mono speaker set-up. i think the same is true of the ageha replay on the galuda II dvd. bear that in mind if you're watching it on a laptop or old tv etcEOJ wrote:The Mushi Futari DVD is region free. It says region 2 on the box, but it's region free. Weird!
The Galuda 2 DVD was also Region free, as were all the INH Cave DVDs.

Well, he made a very brief appearance at the first one and didn't say a word. The picture I got of him is about it, and you had to be on your toes to see him. I was there for quite a few hours as well.SuperPang wrote:I agree. I would've taken something like an original Ketsui flyer with me just in case he was signing. If it was a more attractive autograph maybe even a boxHow l337 would that be.

The book is 120 or so pages, 30 of which are color. It's also 3 DVDs. Japanese retail price was 7600 yen, so not a whole lot cheaper. Be thankful you can get it. Many payed over 12,000 on Yahoo Japan.Super Laydock wrote:

It's kind of boring, actually. Maniac Mode really does kind of suck. There's all types of places that are very "un-Cavish". I don't know what Ikeda was thinking. It's basically really hard to "stretch" the amount of gems you have. Very two-dimensional (pun intended).
If you get it, you should get it for a harder Original mode. It's definitely playable, and definitely harder.

No. It takes place after the first game. Reko is a little bit older and the final boss blames her for the death of her son (Aki, who dies at the end of the first game).Limbrooke wrote:Without looking up any information on this game, would I be correct to assume the story/setting takes place in the past? At least that's cleared up. Only question is why do they depict Reco as being younger? Obviously it's not fact, but that's the impression I get. Palm seems to have a distinct similarity to Aki, and since I was unaware he was infact a he and moreover that he infact died.Kiken wrote:No. It takes place after the first game. Good point. I think my feeling overall with the out of game artwork to be pretty weird/freaky. Basically any colour character artwork essentially, and that's probably why I have a strange impression at this point.
