Saturday I'll have my own webspace, so I'll upload it then. Zakk + Ghegs offered to host it for me, which I really appreciate, but I'm just going to wait until Sept 1st. Sorry, people. I'll make a thread in the main forum once it's uploaded.

Why is namako team still whining about the choice of twinbee? Didn't you guys come in first? I thought you liked the game, Icarus?

I guess it really is true that half the fun of the tournament for some people is getting to complain about the choice. Enjoy!

1. Fourth choice game, well behind Sexy Paro, Gokujyou Paro and Salamander 2 (in that order).

2. I like the game, but not as much as the Paro on the list. With the exception of elbarto who's a Konami fanatic (and was in Japan from midweek, meaning he couldn't update his score after that), if the rest of my team had any love for the game before, it's probably gone now, LOL.

3. First team placing for the week does not automatically mean we love the game. All of us, myself included, had to really grind out our results, and I'm proud of my team's dedication to the task in the face of videogame adversity. The guys have done good.
At least understand that it is individual results, not love for the game, that guarantees high placing weeks. You could be in love with the game, but if your score sucks shit, you won't be contributing much to the team. That should be obvious from understanding how Edge's end-of-week point distribution dynamic works.

4. We're on a forum where everyone is an expert at complaining. Just look at the thread for the new Cave game as an example.

The thing I hate the most about Twinbee is that it has furries.

UGH

no crappy gameplay elements can possibly ruin the game as much as that

This is me and Armed Police Batrider, as last year's STGT proves. I love that game, but I don't think my score was even between top 3 of my team. And remember my team was made of old schoolers, supposedly everyone should suck at Batrider :)

Normally when anyone else says that, you're the first to chime in with "We're a bunch of grouchy old men". :)

No. Salamander 2 is better than Twinbee because it doesn't drive you frickin' nuts.

Well, we are. And nowadays I like to join in.

Don't fight it. You know you want to be that old man that sits on his porch and throws rocks at kids passing by.

kind of hard to understand why salamander 2 was first choice considering one can get to 1-6 without much effort and the fact that boss milking is crucial for score

so, lol

Salamander 2 has scoring lol

option launch attack

Kill everything on the screen pushing levels, lower power level so that powerup carriers spawn, pick up everything including launched options for points.

It's also possible to kill that stage 1 eye thing for 100k.

A bit confusing as a list worded as such is read as 4, 3, 2, 1

Salamander 2 is some miserable mediocre shit. I learned to like Twinbee, and I actually think it was far less annoying than Gokujyou's frequent bell clusters would've been. Twinbee had a few lingering nuisances, but it was just a step below Sexy Parodius. And it was less played, so.

Yeah, sorry. I ordered it as 1st, 2nd and 3rd.
Gradius 3 didn't even get considered.

Stage 2. It's sloppy and I guess it's also the worst part of the replay.
