Their was Vulgus being played without me? :(

Oh well sounds like you guys had fun. I was at an anime convention in Chicago were I shopped hanged with drunk people drunk robots and drunk SNK fans. I also met a member of the forum that hasnt posted here in awhile, Zweihander. We played some Under Defeat and Twinkle Star Sprites and had some good chats too. Most of what was played their was 2-D fighters. I played some KOF's11 with the 5th ranked Guilty Gear player in the US, I also played against a topped ranked KOF's player and almost won. I played a shit load of Melty Blood:Act Cadanza their. Some really stiff competition their, even played against a pro and managed to win a round using evil Shiki's cheap slash barage.

Hey ROBO hope your doing good, me and Andy will probaly go to the next FNG. We attended one of the ones over at Pic-mcloud's house, you can read about how we did at the FNG thread at MIG. We were the two best Third Strike players their and we pretty much dominated till another one of their freinds came, he fought with about the same level of skill as me and Andy.
I did great so much water and milk that I threw up when I was little.

I have just played a few rounds of WarTech for the Xbox 360.

Is a most fun game and will look to include this in our Summer Carnival extravaganza! Make room Twinkle Star Sprites!

@DJI
I am hoping to get some caravan action going on with some of the official softs. I got Recca and Alzadick and going to try to snag a Nexzr and Spriggan.

It was nice to get FNG up and running again, nice turnout...thanks to everyone who showed up. A good time was had, hope the Domino's was ok...Happys would not deliver pizza by creditcard. The new Capcom joint was cool towards the end when most of the fighters were unlocked, Dave showed us some stuff with the big E. Honda guy. It was nice to see Tim back from the war, Tom....u guys were missed hope to see you next time. The party broke up at 2:30am with a decent fireworks show afterwards (ha, ha). Loaned a few shmups to Dale and Andy.....hope u guys had a good time.

Till next time, happy gaming from the FNG Crew.

Exerion
Maniac Mansion
Ballblazer
Arkanoid(w/ controller!)

Yes please! ;)

Especially S&P, since I've never even seen it, and I loves me some Treasure goodness.

You've not seen Sin and Punishment? This is fine Treasure work - the reason why I have N64!

@ubersaurus:
Please do bring Summer Carnival 93: Nezxr and Over Horizon

Yes I do have a 360 and currently have two official wireless controllers and one DOA4 arcade stick (Currently enjoying War Tech right now)

Other UPDATES:

Currently still working on dates but are looking to be in mid July - maybe the weekend of 7-14, or the weekend of 7-21. Am open to suggestions and hope to have the biggest turn out yet!

I have a 360 controller myself(by then I may have two for halo 3, though). I can cart them along if there's interest in some 4 player aegis.

Over Horizon, Whip Rush, and Nexzr, ok :D

Is your Nexzr the tournament offical soft (with the white cover)?

I just recently picked up the regular game and is just a straight up full game (a good game with Hyper Duel sound effects :o ) but no caravan mode.

White cover, with the caravan mode. I've actually been playing the caravan mode more than the actual game!

I doubt any one will be able to make it out early as 4:00 PM.

6:00 PM to 8:00 PM is more realistic.

I had to throw a fit about it, but I finally got the 14th off. Hand count inventory at 5am on the 15th though! :D

This Saturday I work until 9 and probably won't get home until around 10. I don't know if that's too late or not, but Zero should be able to be there. :D

10 is not too late. Just stroll by after work if your not tuckered out.

As for 5 AM on the 15th, that sucks. You and Zero could always come over earlier to play some games if you wished. I will probably have every thing set up by 12 to 2.

I don't really care about the 15th. The Friday before I can get some of it done, and I've done it before tired as hell. =P We get to leave early that day anyway, so it's all good. =)

I'm in. I thought it over and can't think of anything else going on that date that would require my attention.

Heh, maybe if I bring the atari we'll get the chance to actually run some games for it :P I can't be the only one who likes fixed screen games!

@ Ayanami I'll be able to come by as early as you need me to help for set ups. I'll have to bring more this time (Xbox 360 and I may very well bring another television)

I'll be getting in touch soon for this evening. (at work now til 2:30)

I'll be there as well, but since it's at Ayanami's I would think that kind of goes without saying.

I'm bringing my DS with Meteos, Mario Kart, Advance Wars, and anything else that's multiplayer.

I plan to attend, but you know I just had surgery last month...it depends on how I feel that day, but count me in.

lol I won't forget Power Strike this time.

Shall I bring fighters again as well? I have a couple of new ones since last time like GGXX Accent Core, World's greatest disciple: Kenichi (Capcom fighter based on an anime) and Fist of the North Star (Sammy/Arc Systems). We can also play Melty again too, maybe. I also have KOF 11 and Maximum Impact 2.

I Plan to bring a few shmups that you guys really don't play ( at least I never hear you mention certain ones).
