Since my RF-Emporium site went down, I decided to put up all of my information into WikiPedia. One big change I had to implement was to rewrite everything from an obsessive, informal, fan-review style that was originally on my site into a neutral encyclopedic style suitable for WikiPedia. If you have anything to contribute to these articles, feel free! Any corrections are welcome as well.

I plan to do the same thing for the Strikers series on Wiki (some nutjob carbon-copied text from my site and made Wiki articles out of them).
I will also make a Seibu SPI System article on Wiki soon. The information I have is severely outdated, however.
Has anyone ever discussed making a SHMUP Wiki? There is a DOOM Wiki and a Final Fantasy Wiki currently. A SHMUP Wiki would be a great idea. It makes the perfect forum to implement the SHMUP glossary found right here!

Re: Raiden Fighters Wiki!
There was someone on another messageboard I read that made one.Alluro wrote: Slightly off topic, has anyone ever discussed making a SHMUP Wiki? I suggested multiple times he come here to get contributors. He never did. Instead he kept editing it (alone) only for games he personally played (which means Ikaruga, GradV and Einhander) complete with errors/omissions of info etc. I think someone here found it and made fun of it a while back.
I forget the domain. I do believe one of the very first things he did was add it to the 'resource' section of the wikipedia entry on shmups, so you can probably find it that way.
Maybe he's lurking and this will anger him into action!

I agree. Too many of the shmup articles right now on WikiPedia are stubs with little to no information. These Raiden Fighters articles are my contributions to a future SHMUP Wiki project.freddiebamboo wrote:Excellent Alluro, very well done. Wiki could do with more shooter coverage.
Once a SHMUP Wiki does get underway, the first thing to be done is to incorporate the SHMUP glossary into the Wiki.
EDIT: I found one. However, it seems far from being even close to being comprehensive.
zakk, is this the Wiki to which you were referring?

is Go Sato. Akira Sato is the composer of the first Raiden.
What about all the secrets and hidden bonuses which were on the
original RFE will they be added?
And if you need tech details about the SPI PM me.
