Great episode, though. Where a lot of episodes have disappointed me this season, this one felt like it was written back in that era where the show was consistent and not on probation. I hope they can keep it up for the finale.

According to the shows timeline, Kate only rode the stick like what? A week ago? Way too early to have any conclusive proof of being pregnant... and I don't recall them taking any urine or blood samples... although Sawyer could be a sick fuck and have some lying around. Besides, apparently the first time she got dat ass tapped was the only time they would've been able to test her.

He's not dead. Naomi has far worse wounds, and Mikhail even said like 2 episodes ago, "I think you'll find wounds on this island aren't around long" or something to that effect.

Agreed, but now that they plan to have so many more seasons of the show, there is some reason to think that they won't want to kill off main characters.

She has considered quitting the show due to tough scheduling, though. (Damn recruited-from-advertisement-actor pool)

So I watched that Lost special last night just to get caught up on the stuff I missed. The thing that was most surprising: that Locke blew up the submarine. What did that accomplish? If he wanted to stay on the island, I'm sure people would have let him. So he didn't want to be there all alone? Well, now he is. Who wants to hang out with the guy who blew up the submarine?

The stupidest thing in the show last night: that Jack and John Locke are supposed to represent a division between empiricism and faith. John Locke, the great 17th century philosopher, was the father of modern empiricism! Wtf!

Well, I think this was pretty apparent w/ the Season 2 premiere: Man of Science, Man of Faith. It was the title of the episode, and they even said it in there. Jack is a doctor... Locke is continually looking inward, and sometimes even taking drugs (w00t) to find answers.

Where'd you see this? I heard Sayid said he was going to too. What the fuck would either of them do though? They're not fantastic actors, although not bad. She'll get mad loot the next few seasons. She ain't going anywhere. Besides, tough scheduling on Honolulu? Gimme a break. Nobody on that island works, so 40 hours a week seems like hell.

This episode is pure mindfuck and badass. With the threat of the Others effectively neutralized, I'd love to see the new villains, and what they did to fuck Jack up that hard.

Yeah, I suppose... with 3 years on the set, you'd get used to the increasingly secretive and restrictive production.

Something rather strange about this alleged flash-forward. Twice Jack referred to his father in the present tense, but his father died before the crash-- Jack was returning his body to the US when the plane went down. Are we supposed to have some doubts about whether this is really going to happen in the future? But we aren't supposed to have this sort of doubt about the flashbacks.

Guess I will just let this eat my brain for months. You know they won't start the next season until like October or November.

Last night's episode(s) was pretty insane on all sorts of levels, but after discussing with some of my friends... We've come up with some theories and stuff, but I don't want to spoil it.

It really sucks that we are going to have to wait 9 months for season 4 to start.
